Just go through some of the terms described in this article and then proceed.
What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is nothing but certification or recognition to an educational institution by any of the Govt.’s recognized body after proper evaluation of their standard, pattern and methods of teaching, study materials etc. Getting an online degree from an accredited institution helps a student to get a proper and complete education and a good Govt. or private job without any complication.
As we know most of the Universities are having their own governing bodies which passed by their state or regional educational ministry. But, the private institutions which do not have any recognition from any University and educate or certify the students with a degree are called Unaccredited Institutions. At any time the institution may encounter by the State’s Governing Education body and seize because of inappropriate certification, forgery like matters.

What are the types of Accreditation?
For the betterment of students and the organization an institution must carry the two types of common accreditations; such as Institutional Accreditation and Specialized Accreditation.
An Institutional Accreditation is nothing but what we get to know from the above paragraph. It is a certification or recognition by a governing body to an educational institution to perform or execute the recommended programs and follow their limitations as per their norms.
A Specialized Accreditation is the next step which must be taken to teach a specific program or syllabus. Suppose if an institute got its institutional accreditation from a University or Board and wants to teach technical subjects, then it needs to get a specialized accreditation from any technical performing body or community, technical educational association, or technical R&D organization. The certified body will analyze the teaching pattern, quality of education, study materials etc to accredit and review the same every year to maintain the accreditation.
A specialized accreditation is most important for a student to pursue an outstanding training, degree and for her/his purpose of higher studies or sound placement. Some specialized accreditation is valid only in a specific region (nationally) and some value globally. If a student receives an online degree from a highly accredited institution (international school), his chances of moving abroad due to employment and/or study is high as compared to the home (national) schools.
Therefore, it’s very essential to check whether it is Internationally Accredited or Nationally. However I am not telling that National Accredited Distance Learning Degree Schools are not-good; individually they have their own qualities and significances. Other than this there are some other accreditation like Certificate of International Standard Organization ISO 9001:2008 and others which announce a grade, rate or quality of an institution.
